I don’t care about dressing in the latest styles. I’ve never been “on trend” and I haven’t shopped for new clothing for almost a year. Most of my clothing is black and gray for ease, but now I’m ready to lighten up for Spring. This will mean bringing in a few new items and letting even more go. As I continue to keep a simple, versatile wardrobe, I’ll be looking for ways to make things even easier.
I won’t be including any clothing that …
- needs ironing
- has a tag that reads “dry clean only”
- can only be worn with one outfit
- isn’t a perfect fit
I’ll be publishing my list for the 7th Season of Project 333 in April and would love to see your list too. I’ll be putting a post together listing other blogs featuring project 333 experiences so please let me know if you’d like to be included on that list. I want to share your stories! I’ve learned so much about myself by dressing with less and have really enjoyed changing my ways. Here are just a few of the things that are different for me…
- I’ve almost completely stopped wearing jewelry
- All of my clothes fit me
- I rarely spend money on clothing or accessories
- One purse is enough
- One pair of sunglasses is enough
I am often asked “what’s next for Project 333″ and the answer is simple. I have no idea. I’m open to ideas and would love your input. Please share your ideas in the comment section below, through email or on the Project 333 Facebook Page.
This started as my project and has become our project. Thank you for your guest posts. Thank you for sharing Project 333 with your friends and for changing your lives beginning in your closet. Thanks most of all for sharing your experiences and gratitude with me. It all means so much.
While the future of Project 333 isn’t crystal clear, I can guarantee that we will continue to change the world, one closet at time. Is your’s next?
P.S. If you need help creating space in your closet & your life, register for Create Space, a lovely course by Saturday, March 17th.
